How to Use “Du Coup“

A lot of French learners struggle using du coup, but it’s pretty easy!

Du coup - so, therefore, as a result
But sometimes people say it at the end of a phrase!

In this video the woman says…

Il est là, du coup - translated to English it would be kinda like: (so, therefore, as a result) he’s there

Another example: Du coup, on fait quoi ? - So, what’re we doing?

It’s pretty simple, right? That’s really all there is to it, but the more you hear native speakers use it, the more it’ll make sense and you’ll be able to use it in conversation.
