Pronouncing the French 'R'

Bonjour tout le monde !!

I had a few clients recently who told me they were struggling with the French R, but with the right technique it’s actually pretty easy. (I made 2 videos recently if you’d rather watch those than read: part 1 & part 2)

It starts with a K sound. Then you make a kind of gargling sound from there. You can practice with a word like "très".

What’s really interesting to me is how the French R tends to be very pronounced after a consonant, but it can be much more subtle if the word begins in R or the R is right before a consonant (I go over that in this video).
