A lot of French learners don’t feel confident speaking French because French pronunciation can be so difficult
Luckily with the right techniques, you can drastically improve your French accent. Here are some tips:
French R
Watch these videos to get a perfect French R: part 1 & part 2.
And here is one of my favorite French R tips: After a consonant like “très, croissant, etc”, the French R is much more pronounced. But in the beginning of a word or before a consonant, it’s generally much more subtle.
Pronouncing charcuterie
The word charcuterie gives a lot of people trouble, so I made a reel about how to pronounce it properly and it’s SO EASY!
It’s kind of like this: char-cu-trie
Liaisons
One of my favorite tips about liaisons is you generally don’t do it with a noun or a verb (unless the verb is inverted like vas-y, and there a few exceptions for nouns)
